🎏Many LFP families took part in this year’s coho salmon release at Grace Cole Park on 4/17. Thank you Lake Forest Park Stewardship Foundation and Mr. Kleyn for setting up and guiding the release of the 200 salmon fry that were hatched and raised in our library. Families learned about the changes to Grace Cole Park’s two beaver dams and how the dams will help our salmon grow strong before entering Lake Washington. It’s wonderful to see our students connect with their local environment and learn how they play a role in preserving it. Next year, we’ll do it again!
