Join us for some hands-on STEAM fun at the library! Our little engineers are invited to get creative and build awesome projects using magnetic tiles, wooden blocks, and simple mechanisms. While this program is designed for ages 6 to 12, curious builders of all ages who are eager to learn and play are welcome to join!

🎓 Congrats, Malena! A massive round of applause to our very own Malena on her graduation! We are so proud of you.

☀️ Outreach & Fun: We took our booth out into the community, hosted creative clay craft days, and even welcomed some incredibly fluffy, puppy-sized visitors.

Summer is officially here at Lakeland Village Library, and we’re ready for an unforgettable Summer Reading Adventure! 🌞📚✨

Kick off the season with two exciting live performers: meet a real-life Reptile Hunter on June 12 and explore hands-on science fun with the Western Science Center on June 27! Families can enjoy a summer packed with creativity, learning, games, story-times, clubs, crafts, movies, and special events for all ages.

Don’t forget to join our Summer Reading Challenge running June 8 – July 17! Read throughout the summer to earn badges, level prizes, and fun rewards while building lifelong reading habits together as a family.

Whether you’re stopping by for a program, discovering new books, or spending quality family time together, there’s something for everyone at the library this summer. We can’t wait to see you! ☀️📖

Get ready for an exciting Anime Club Day tomorrow at the Lakeland Village Library (AGES 13-17)!

This week, we are diving deep into the world of One Piece and exploring the mystery of Devil Fruits. Whether you want to try recreating Luffy's legendary Gum-Gum Fruit or design a brand-new one of your own, we want to see your creativity in action.

We are so excited to work with Lakeland Village Community Center and The Boys and Girls Club at Lakeland Village to get this garden started for our community. Stop by on May 16th for our first phase: PREP! We can't wait to see you there! ☺️

🌱 Help Us Grow a Community Garden in Lakeland Village! 🌱

We’re kicking off Phase 1 of our new Community Garden Project and inviting the community to help us get started.

📅 Saturday, May 16th
⏰ 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Volunteers will help relocate existing plants to prepare the space for future garden beds, community gardening programs, and gardening classes.

We’re also accepting donations of:🪴 Starter plants & seeds🛠 Gardening tools🌱 Soil & raised garden beds

Come be part of building something meaningful for the community from the ground up.
