Than You Richard Varner for working on your day off and attempting to try to clean the ice off of Catfish Dr. For anyone that has does not know Richard he will work when others are not and does not turn in overtime for it. So the next time you see him you might want to say Thank you for a job well done, Lake City has many good employees, our water and sewer guys work and in cold and rain and behind the scenes also the other street employees are out there helping them many times while we are all in our warm beds, not even knowing there has been a problem until the next day when the water pressure might be a little low. Thanks to all of you. And Ms. Connie also for keeping our billing straight. You all make a Clerks job a little easier, and our city a better place to live.

We always hear the negative and the complaints well today I have to complement 7 of Lake City's employees, Winred Saffell, Steve Chamness, Toby Rand, Chris Walker, Tommy Mann, and Richard Varner. These employees always end up with sick time on the books, they make my job so much easier. These are dedicated people that work when they really don't feel like it but they do their jobs anyway. Also I want to commend the Police Dept. During my terms in office unless there has been a death or a surgery these fine men have not taken off one hour for sick leave, that is true team work, I appreciate you guys. Thank you all and God bless you all I am proud to be a part of this city with you.

As I begin my third term in office I am overwhelmed. I love my city, my people, and love my job. Thank you Lake City, I will continue to always do the very best job I know how, and strive to learn more to make my job better and our city a better place to live. I am blessed to live in such a wonderful place.
