We are so grateful to First Baptist Church of Lake City for their continued support of the Christian Service Center of Columbia County and for welcoming us yesterday to share about the Center and the work God is doing through this ministry.

It is such a blessing to have churches in our community that care deeply about serving others and helping meet the needs of our neighbors. Your prayers, generosity, encouragement, and partnership make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.

Today, we pause to remember the lives that were lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the heroes who responded with extraordinary courage and selflessness on September 11, 2001.

We also remember the compassion, courage, and unity that brought our nation together during one of its darkest moments.

From all of us at the Christian Service Center, we honor the lives and sacrifices of those who were lost and continue to keep the families, first responders, and communities forever impacted by that day in our prayers.

We are so grateful to VyStar Credit Union for hosting a food drive to support the Christian Service Center! Through their generosity and the generosity of everyone who donated, 160 pounds of food were collected for our community. 🥫❤️

Every donation helps us provide food and support to individuals and families right here in our community. Your kindness makes a real difference!

🥫 HELP US PROVIDE A MEAL OF HOPE! 💙

The Christian Service Center provides "meals to-go" to individuals in our community experiencing homelessness. These simple meals can make a meaningful difference for someone who may not know where their next meal is coming from.

We are currently asking our generous community for donations of:

- Canned meals (ex. Chef Boyardee)
- Fruit cups
- Cheese or crackers crackers
- Pudding or Jello cups
- Pop-Tarts
- Granola bars
- Vienna sausage
- Beanee Weenees

Every donation, large or small, helps us continue serving our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and love.

Your generosity helps put food in someone's hands and hope in their heart. ❤️

In observance of Labor Day, the Christian Service Center of Columbia County will be closed on Monday, September 7th.

We hope everyone has a safe and restful Labor Day as we take a day to recognize and appreciate the hard work and contributions of those who help make our community strong. ❤️💙

We will resume normal operations on Tuesday, September 8th.

It was encouraging to see firsthand the heart behind this organization, and we look forward to finding more ways to support them in the future.

The Christian Service Center is a community-supported, community-funded ministry. Our volunteers, churches, donors, businesses, and individual supporters make it possible for us to continue serving our neighbors in need.

Each week, we provide meals and easy-to-carry food items to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

Right now, we're especially in need of:

🍎 Fruit Cups
🍮 Snack Pack Pudding Cups
🧀 Cheese Crackers
🥜 Peanut Butter Crackers
🥣 Granola Bars
🍝 Chef Boyardee or other canned meals

These may seem like small items, but small donations add up to BIG help for someone who may not know where their next meal is coming from.
