Advanced voting ends today at the Barber County Courthouse at noon. Tomorrow you can vote in North Barber at the Barber County Annex at 211 E. Kansas Ave in Medicine Lodge. South Barber County will vote at the Barber County Ambulance Services 734 Main Street in Kiowa, Kansas. Make sure to exercise your right to vote!

Here is another service for people in our county. You can sign up for emergency information. https://barber.ks.gov/everbridge.html County residents have access to Everbridge, a notification system that can provide critical, potentially life-saving communications in an emergency or disaster.
Each user can choose the types of notifications they wish to receive, and how those notifications are delivered to them.
The Everbridge platform can produce resident alerts for a wide range of public safety incidents, whether natural or man-made. For example, residents could receive a notification for severe weather, a wildfire, or flooding. Additionally, residents can choose to receive updates from participating municipalities for non-emergent issues, such as road closures or utility maintenance in your city.

If you have not voted August 6th is an important election. I would appreciate your vote for Barber County Clerk. I love making sure that people in the county know what is going on in our county. I will have a page that updates just like we have done through the campaign period so that people know where to find information that may be of interest to you. With the dashboard on this page I have seen that there is a real interest in where the tax dollars go in our county. I am so thankful for freedom. Since we have freedom I can run for Barber County Clerk. When it comes time to vote realize that it is your freedom to choose who you want for Barber County Clerk. Not just a select few will make this decision. I am qualified to run this office professionally, efficiently and respectfully. In states that do not elect their county clerks all you have to have is a high school diploma. I have my Bachelors Degree in General Studies as well as my degree for being a legal secretary. I have many years of experience of working with people and solving problems. I am well qualified and I can get the job done. Thank you for your vote for County Clerk.

They do these for Census years. I enjoy numbers and looking at things that have been tracked. Great site with open information.
