At approximately 8:12 PM, crews responded to the 3000 block of South US Hwy 441 following reports of a semi-truck fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered three dump trucks fully involved in flames. Through quick thinking and swift action by responding crews, the fire was brought under control efficiently and safely.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

During EMS Week, we are reminded of the strong partnerships that help keep our crews going each and every day. Columbia County Fire Rescue would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to AirLife 7 for their generosity and for providing lunch to our crews yesterday.
