Peggy Scanlan, age 83, of Lake City, IA, passed away at Accura HealthCare of Lake City on Wednesday, Sept, 2, 2026. Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake City, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday, September 10, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake City, Iowa, with a 7:00 pm Vigil Service. A private family burial will take place right after the Memorial Mass. Peggy's wishes were to have everyone wear bright colors to her funeral! Memorials can be directed to the Stewart Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or the New Hope Village in Peggy's memory.
