Lake City Fire Company We are 100% volunteer. Serving the community of the Lake City Borough and portions of Girard Township since 1923 with Fire, Rescue and EMS services.

LCFC just returned from a run to assist Millcreek Fire and US Coast Guard with the Drone Team on a person in the water off Beach 1 on Presque Isle.
Utility 566, Support 56 with the Drone equipment. 2 FAA Licensed pilots and 2 support personnel responded. An additional full boat crew and UTV crew stayed back on standby if needed.
Search commenced and after investigation, a person was found swimming in no distress. All units returned.
Fairview Lake Shore Fire Department, Fuller Hose, Millcreek Paramedics and DCNR also responded

Our Carnival is quickly approaching! June 18-20, 2026
Watch for additional info posts over the coming week.

Lake City residents should have received carnival main prize tickets and a letter in the mail in recent days. If you wish to purchase the tickets, please send ticket stubs and checks to the fire station or drop them off in our mailbox on the front of the building at 2232 Rice Ave.

Also, If you have any unwanted clear, good-condition glassware that you would want to donate to the Fire Company for one of our carnival games, please drop them off any Monday night from 6-9 at the Rice Ave station.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...High risk of rip currents expected.

* WHERE...
Pennsylvania, Northern Erie County.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Wind and wave action will cause currents on the
lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can
carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along
structures extending out into the lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
