Our May general meeting featuring Julie Emerson, Chief of Staff for Governor Landry, and Congresswoman Julia Letlow, U.S. Senatorial candidate for Louisiana, was extraordinary. Both women gave wonderful testimony on our beautiful state with Ms. Emerson explaining why it important to vote on Amendments 3 & 4 and an update on Louisiana’s progress; and Congresswoman Letlow shared with our guests why she is running for the U.S. Senate position and what her plans are if elected. We also enjoyed listening to Police Juror candidate for District 7, Allen Joyner tell us why he chose to run for this position and why he is the best choice.
