The purpose of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) is to provide an important link between the JLLC and the needs of the community. The CAB members are made up of members from various segments of the community such as education, media, finance, and arts. They discuss volunteer needs in our community and how the JLLC can help meet those needs!

The Junior League of Lake Charles is proud to host a day dedicated to uplifting, educating, and empowering women in our community.

This inspiring event focuses on helping women move through the world informed, capable, and secure. Through practical safety training, discussions on emotional and mental resilience, and education about legal systems and personal rights, participants will gain tools to protect themselves, set boundaries, and confidently take up space.

Together, we are building stronger, more empowered women and a stronger community.
