Whether it’s $1, $5 or the change hiding in your cup holder 😂 it ALL adds up and goes right back into helping Lake Bridgeport Fire Department.

So when you see us out there, honk, wave, stop and say hey… and help us see just how full we can get these boots!

🚨 MUTUAL AID RESPONSE 🚨

Lake Bridgeport Fire Department is responding to assist our neighboring departments with a mutual aid call in the Paradise area near CR 3340 & CR 3336.

Please use caution in the area, watch for emergency vehicles, and MOVE OVER & SLOW DOWN when approaching responders.

We’re always proud to help our neighbors when they call. That’s what mutual aid is all about. ❤️🚒

🔥 BURN BAN REMINDER — WISE COUNTY 🔥

Just a reminder from Lake Bridgeport Fire Department — Wise County is still under a 90-day burn ban.

🚫 No brush piles
🚫 No trash barrels
🚫 No outdoor burning
🚫 Fireworks are included in the burn ban in unincorporated Wise County

Welding, cutting and outdoor cooking are not prohibited, but there ARE safety guidelines that need to be followed.

Stay safe, Wise County! ❤️

While Fireworks, Brush Piles, Trash Barrels and any other type of outdoor burning is prohibited during the burn ban, We CAN NOT prohibit welding/cutting operations or Cooking. WE DO ASK THAT YOU READ THE OUTDOOR WELDING AND COOKING GUIDELINES BEFORE DOING SO.

🚁 LIFE FLIGHT

When you see Life Flight sitting in the middle of the highway, just know there’s a whole lot going on behind the scenes.

Fire, EMS, law enforcement and the flight crew all working together for one reason — to get someone the help they need as fast as possible.

If you come up on a scene like this, please slow down, pay attention and give us room to work. We promise, nobody has the road shut down just for fun. 😉

🚨 ALRIGHT Y’ALL… IT’S OFFICIAL! 🚨

We’re launching our FILL OUR BOOT fundraiser! 👢🔥

📅 September 12th & 13th
⏰ 7–10 AM & 5–8 PM BOTH DAYS
Location: Will be announced closer to date.

You’ll see your Lake Bridgeport firefighters out with the boot, so stop by, say hey, and toss a few bucks in if you can!

We’ve got some BIG expenses coming up, including much-needed repairs to Brush 122, along with keeping our trucks, equipment, and gear ready to roll when the call drops. 🚒

We’re a volunteer department, so every little bit really does add up.

Yep. Even if it still beeps when you push the test button, most smoke alarms should be replaced about every 10 years.

Go look at the back of yours and find the manufacture date. 👀

Just remember, Wise County is still under a burn ban. Conditions are still too dry, and it won’t take much for a fire to get out of control.
