We were given a glimpse of a contestant's cardboard boat.

We can’t wait to see the creativity and resourcefulness of all participants in the Cardboard Boat Race at Freedom Fest on June 27, 2026.

Prizes will be awarded for:
The Fastest Finish
The Most Spectacular Sinking
The Best Design

Royalty have or will pick up their bags this week to start selling. Get with them to purchase a bag in memory of honor of a loved one.

Luminary Bags

Starting next week Town of Lake Arthur Royalty Kings and Queens will be selling Luminary bags for $5.00 each.

These can be purchased in memory/honor of a service member, loved one, family member, etc.

Bags will also be available for purchase under the pavilion on the day of event.

These bags will be displayed on the boardwalk on the evening of Freedom Fest.

Freedom Fest Parade info

Get those patriotic decorations ready!

This years parade is open to golf carts, side by sides/4 wheelers & bicycles only because we are bringing this parade IN the park!

- Parade will begin at the west entrance (line up will be on Pleasant St)
- Parade will travel along the beach sidewalk towards the main pavilion, turn left towards the parks main entrance and then head back to the west entrance.

*Parade throws are welcome, but not required. (NO GLASS ITEMS)

(For the safety of everyone attending the festival, outside of parade time the only vehicles that will be permitted inside the park are those with proper identification)

🏈 HOMECOMING FESTIVAL 🏈

The Town of Lake Arthur Events Committee is excited to host a Homecoming Festival, featuring live music and a Jambalaya Cook-Off!

We'd love to see LAHS Alumni use this opportunity to reunite and spend the day catching up with old friends.

Gather your classmates and put your cooking skills to the test by entering the Jambalaya Cook-Off!

Whether you're celebrating with your classmates, competing for bragging rights or just enjoying the festivities, there is something for everyone! Let's make this a Homecoming to remember!

We acknowledge the frustration caused by repeated water shutdowns during the Water Line Project upgrades.

The project entails replacing aging water infrastructure, which requires intermittent shutdowns. Although these shutdowns are unavoidable, the new upgrades will enable the Town to isolate specific areas for future repairs, minimizing the need for town-wide shutdowns.

We ask for patience, understanding, and cooperation during these essential repairs to an aging infrastructure. The short-term inconvenience will result in substantial long-term benefits.

Lake Arthur Water Department is bringing the water is coming back online

The TOLA Water Department is bringing the water back online now, but it will take at one hour to get back to full pressure for the entire system. Town will remain under a boil advisory until further notice!
