📚Monday: PM story time at 5pm and first week of Reading Logs are due! We’ll be drawing week 1 winners on Tuesday!
📚Tuesday: AM story time at 9:30 and read in Braille
📚 Thursday: Digging in with Diane and Friends series: Topic: How to Track a Dino, 5pm. Please sign up so we may better serve you!
📚Saturday 6/20 we’ll be out front for the “Elevated Summer Bash” from 11-3 with a special make your own bookmark craft.
📚 Continue the dino scavenger hunt and try your hand at origami. 10 Dino’s are hiding in downtown businesses and it’s up to you to find them. Get your punch card at the library!

📚Diane is a funky Dino expert who has lent her displays to us for viewing and learning pleasure. She brings years of experience working at MSU’s Geology Library and will be sharing that wealth of knowledge with us in weekly conversations. Come unearth a story with her starting on 6/18 at 5pm!

📚Also, we have a 5:00PM story time on 6/15 (Monday) and all kids under 12 are invited. We’ll be digging in with Diary of a Worm. Tuesday’s 9:30AM story time will be extra special because it will be read in Braille. How cool is that!? A craft is included for both story times!

📚Our DnD session has to cancel this upcoming Sunday, 6/14. Keep an eye out for future dates!

If you’ve never been to Dow Gardens, it’s worth the little drive north. Don’t forget your library cards! 🦕 🌺 🦖

Tonight is the first Library Card Night of the summer! Guests receive free admission with a valid Michigan public library card from 4:30 to 8 PM. Children 3 and under always enter free. No reservations needed, just present the card at the admissions counter. Library Card Nights return July 15 and August 12.

Ah! A dino is after me! 🦖

This morning was a success, thanks to everyone for showing up (parents as dino’s were icing on the cake!) and to Joel Tacey at Tiptop Entertainment, who provided all NERF supplies and setup. And of course, thank you to our Friends of the Laingsburg Public Library for your financial support to make this happen!

Summer Reading has just begun! Stop on in to get your punch card for the dino scavenger hunt around town and get registered for our upcoming events! Our next one is we have a PM story time this upcoming Monday for those who can’t make it to our AM session on Tuesday. See you soon, Friends! 🦕💛 📚
