What a joy this surprise visit from Diane Keaton was for our staff. A true treasure on and off the screen. Sending our deepest condolences to her family.

Today we remember Diane Keaton (January 5, 1946-October 11, 2025), award-winning actress, author, OC native, philanthropist, and fierce library supporter. A true icon.

Ms. Keaton visited us at the Laguna Beach Library in 2023 and shared her passion for libraries and books. Thank you for the legacy of your acting roles, but most importantly for your belief in the power of libraries, Ms. Keaton.
