This is a hard post to make, but yesterday at 10 1/2, Arrow passed away. I got to have Arrow as a K9 partner for 7 years, and for another 2 years in retirement. Arrow was a great part of our family and we're so thankful that I was paired up him. Thank you to our community and the many, many people who helped us along the way. Being a K9 Handler was an awesome experience, and Arrow left us with so many great memories and countless adventures. Thank you Arrow so much for everything you did for me, rest in peace Good Boy

Happy 9th birthday Arrow!

Retired!

After 7 years of service Arrow has been retired as a Police K9. It was my goal from my day 1 in 2010 to become a K9 Handler. I couldn't have asked for a better, more loyal partner than Arrow! Arrow and I have gotten to experience things I'd never imagined together through law enforcement. Arrow's had my back the entire time, and I know without a doubt that he's part of why I've always been able to make it home safely. Arrow will live at home with me now and enjoy a well deserved retired life.

On 1/17/23 Arrow went to a fuel theft in progress call with his Deputies at a local farm. Arrow was deployed for an article/evidence search in the shadows the suspect was found in. Arrow proved once again that he's the "goodest" boy by finding a handgun and hypodermic needles with his nose. Deputies believe the suspect tossed these items as they arrived on scene. The suspect was arrested for: Possession of Handgun by a Felon, Possession of M**h w/ a Firearm, Possession of Hypodermic Needles, and Attempted Theft. Other possible criminal charges are pending the completion of the investigation. Arrow enjoyed another can of sardines for his great work!
