๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿš“ Speed Has Consequences!

Last night, our Area 2 Mustang unit stopped a reckless driver who thought 115mph was acceptable on our roadways. While on patrol on I80 in Steuben County, our Trooper observed a vehicle traveling at an extremely high rate of speed in the opposite direction. After obtaining a speed reading of 115 MPH, the Trooper turned around and caught up to the vehicle.

The driver was arrested and transported to jail for reckless driving.

Let this serve as a reminder: We are present, Proactive, and Policing with a Purpose. Speeds like this are not just dangerous - they're life threatening. One bad decision could have resulted in families missing loved ones this Holiday Season.

Slow down. Drive smart. Arrive alive. ๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿš“
