In observance of Memorial Day, the Troup County Government Center will not be open for business on Monday, May 25. We honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
Normal business hours will resume Tuesday. 🇺🇸 Have a great weekend!

🗳️ 📢 Absentee Ballot info for June 16 Runoff Election:

If you did not apply for an absentee ballot using the Elderly or Disabled status and would like an absentee ballot mailed to you for the June 16, 2026 runoff election, your application must be submitted by June 5, 2026.

With any questions, please call our Elections and Registration office at 706-883-1745.

🛠️🧑‍🚒Members of the Troup County Fire Department recently conducted a vehicle extrication training to sharpen and reinforce the skills used during vehicle crash responses.

Using donated vehicles from Alexanders Towing LLC., crews practiced real-world rescue scenarios including removing doors, cutting through vehicle frames, and creating access points to safely remove trapped occupants using eDRAULIC rescue tools and other specialized equipment.

This hands-on training helps responders stay prepared to act quickly, safely, and efficiently when seconds matter most for the citizens of Troup County.

The Troup County Fire Department extends a huge thank-you to Alexander’s Towing for supporting this important training opportunity!

Loads of fun at Troup County’s Employee Appreciation Family Fun Day! ☀️🥳🍔🚂

On Saturday, Troup County employees and their families gathered at Oakfuskee Conservation Center for a Family Fun Day to celebrate all of their hard work and dedication to our community.

We are so thankful for our employees, not only this week, but every week. Please join us in showing some appreciation for all that they do!
