This is Jackie…..We are incredibly thankful for all of the help from those that supported Stacy in this election. A lot of hard work went into this, not just us, but friends and family as well. With that being said, Facebook played a part in this campaign as well. So with a new page name, we’re gonna continue using this page to keep the citizens of Macon County informed about any changes in service, weather information, closings and anything else that will affect this office and the public.

Well this journey is about over. General Election is tomorrow Aug 6th from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. PLEASE go VOTE!!! You will be voting at your precinct that is on your voter registration card. If you don’t know where that is call the election commission office @ 615-666-2199. They will be happy to help you. I have enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone that I have met. I have enjoyed going to all the events that I could in hopes of meeting more people. I want to thank you all again for the support and encouragement that I have received. Again, I want to humbly ask for your vote tomorrow. I truly do love my job and want to work for you on the next level of being your next Macon County Clerk. I have 19 YEARS of current hands on experience that the other candidates don’t have in this office that I’m seeking election for. I will work hard for you if elected. I want to apologize if I haven’t asked for your vote in person. It is hard to get to everyone. Again please vote STACY KEMP for your next MACON COUNTY CLERK . Good morning Macon County. I wanted to get on here and tell you some changes that have just happened and changes that are coming to the Macon County Clerks office and the people who resides in Tennessee. On June 30th, Tennessee started doing electronic titles. They have started with dealers. You can choose whether you want an electronic title or a paper title. Electronic title is a title that is setting in the computer data base . But when you do that and later on you do need a paper title, you will have to pay $14.00 to get one. This is new and just starting out . On Jan 1st 2027 all residents must have a valid drivers license to do any title work. Not to renew a vehicle but all title work. So if you don’t have a valid drivers license you need to start the process of trying to get one before Jan 1st 2027. On July 1st 2027 you will have to show proof of insurance. The state is getting more strict with this . The fees are going up when you get a letter for not having insurance. You will get up to 3 letters if you don’t get insurance before 3rd letter your drivers license will get revoked or suspended. Fees will range anywhere from $100.00 to $1500.00 . It could cost more the longer you stay without insurance. Some instances could cost up to $3000.00 . So it is very important that you have insurance on your vehicle. There is some paperwork you must turn in and call the state if you have a vehicle that is parked for whatever reason . You can come into the office and pick it up. You will have to do that yourself. This can help with getting into trouble with the letters . State says residents have to call. Just some things I wanted to let the people know about. Just today and tomorrow for early voting. Early voting starts Friday, July 17th - Aug 1st. General Election Day is Aug the 6th . Please, I encourage everyone to get out and exercise their right to vote. This is the final election. I beg you to vote for someone who can take over from day one with a smooth transition. Someone with hands on recent experience on how to run and do things in the office. Someone who will continue to work for and serve the citizens of Macon County with the respect and kindness that they deserve. Someone that will work to try to look into other things to serve the community . Things that will be the best for our office and citizens of Macon County. I will not make promises that I can’t keep. I love my job and my community . Please let me continue to do my job, not as deputy clerk but as your Macon County Clerk. Vote Stacy Kemp County Clerk. Experience matters and your vote matters. 🇺🇸🇺🇸19 yrs in office!!

Just wanted to get on here and remind everybody of a few important dates to remember. Time is getting closer . I want to encourage everybody to cast their vote. Make their voices heard. July 7th is the last day to register to vote in the general election on Aug 6th. Early voting starts July 17th - Aug 1st. That will be held at the election commission office. Then the big day, Aug 6th, 2026. You will vote at your voting precinct on this day.This is the day that your vote will decide who gets what office or which commissioner gets what district. I humbly ask that you vote Stacy Kemp for County Clerk. The only candidate that has 19 years of recent hands on experience in office. I want to say thank you for the support and kindness shown to me throughout this journey. it really means a lot. Also absentee ballot, if you want to vote this way call the election commission office . They will be glad to help and assist you in anyway they can. 615-666-2199. Please vote. Just getting on here to remind y’all of a few dates. You have to be registered to vote by July 7th to vote in the general election. So please if you are not registered get that done . Your vote matters. Also early voting starts July 17th - Aug 1st. I encourage everyone to early vote and get it done. You early vote at the election commission office. Also if you want to vote by absentee ballot, call the election commission office and let them know. They will help you and direct you on getting that done also. 615-666-2199. I have been out and about trying to get to as many of you as I can. Please if I don’t get to you don’t think that I don’t think your vote matters , because it does and I humbly ask for your vote. Lafayette has gotten so big and with me working , I only have a few hours in the evening and on Sat , after work to get out and about . Sunday’s is the Lord’s day. I will be at the Hillbilly Days, June 18th - June 20th . I will have an area set up . Feel free to come by and see me and ask any questions you may have . I am excited to see everybody come out and enjoy the festivities. It is for a good cause and is good for our community to come together and show our support for the Lions Club . They do great things for our community. Again , remember experience matters and please vote Stacy Kemp as Macon County Clerk. I want to continue to serve my community . I am so grateful for the support I have gotten so far on my endeavors of trying to get to as many people as I can, to ask them to please vote for me in Aug. I am looking forward to seeing people tomorrow at the Folk Medicine Festival in Red Boiling Springs. It will be a fun time . Come and enjoy the day. Looking forward to seeing you there .

I hope everyone has had a great Memorial Day weekend. Remembering those who have fought for our country. I have enjoyed being out and about, meeting people and asking for your vote in the August general election. I have appreciated your kindness and support. I will try to reach as many people as I can in the days ahead and at different upcoming events. I wanted to let people know that office hours will remain the same. I will be looking into different things that can better help our community, as budget allows, and also having the staff to do extra things, which also deals with the budget. I don’t want to make promises I can’t keep. I want the office to help the community as much as we can, as I feel this office has always done that with kindness and respect. Remember, hands-on experience matters, and I have 19 years of experience in the office. I love my job. I love serving my community as a deputy clerk, and I would like the opportunity to serve as County Clerk. Please vote. Use that right that people have died for. If you have questions, I’d be glad to answer them. Early voting starts July 17th through Aug 1st. Election Day is August 6th. Again, I humbly ask you to vote Stacy Kemp, County Clerk.
