Due to the high volume of users attempting to access the transportation portal simultaneously, we have been experiencing technical difficulties with e-Link, specifically with out of zone requests. The Transportation Department is working with the software provider on a solution to this matter, and we will continue to monitor the system. Parents can still access transportation information through the Parent Portal.

For additional questions or issues accessing information through the Parent Portal, please contact the Schools of Choice office between 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, at 337-521-7044.

Last night the Air Force JROTC Academy hosted its 15th annual Military Dining Out event. Student (Cadets) received awards for leadership, citizenship, achievements, and service. Seniors were also recognized for completing cadet training and serving as models for lower class-men. It was a great evening filled with toasts, laughter, recognitions, food, and dancing. Among the guest speakers was Erick Knezek, who not only serves as Board Member for District 8, but also as someone who has served in the Navy, an advocate and supporter of the JROTC academies. Mr. Knezek was honored with a special award for his dedication and advocacy of the JROTC academies, in a surprise Presentation of the Flag ceremony. Thank you Sargent Tina Viltz for all your hard work as academy director and mentor for the cadets of LPSS! We wish the graduating class best of luck in the future - whether it's through service to the country, community, or family.
