Southwest Louisiana Black Chamber of Commerce

Southwest Louisiana Black Chamber of Commerce Southwest Louisiana Black Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit 501c3 organization.

The Chamber shall organize to advance and protect the general welfare and prosperity of African American owned businesses as well as other minority owned businesses in the community. All appropriate and necessary means of promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, financial, commercial, industrial, governmental, cultural, and civic interest of the area. The purpose of the Chamber shall be to teach capitalism and expand access to capitalization, technical support, procurement opportunities, effective networking, and sharing of information for black owned businesses and other minority owned businesses as well as the African decedent community as a whole. The main vehicle of dissemination concerning this purpose will be through seminars and training sessions and through the organization of Commerce organizations in other parishes.

Your goal should not be to outshine someone else—your goal should be to become a better version of yourself each day.

Everyone’s success looks different because God has given each of us a unique path, purpose, and season. Never compare your beginning to someone else’s middle or your journey to someone else’s destination.

Be the example of:

Stress will make you focus on what is going wrong, but gratitude reminds you of everything God has already made right.

You may have responsibilities, challenges, and unanswered questions—but you also have a God who provides, protects, and promises never to leave you.

📖 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” — Philippians 4:6

Today, release the pressure and count your blessings. Pray instead of worrying. Trust instead of fearing. Give God what you cannot control and receive His peace.
