Today we're celebrating Shanon and her incredible four-year journey with the Greater Lafayette Family Shelter.

Shannon first came to our shelter as a client, seeking a safe place for herself and her children during a difficult time. She now serves as both our Facilities Manager and a Case Advocate.

Her story is a powerful reminder that homelessness does not define a person. Given support, opportunity, and determination, lives can be transformed.

Please join us in congratulating Shannon on four years of service and impact. 🎉

Housing instability is not just a big-city issue.

Recent Indiana homelessness data shows rural homelessness has been rising faster than urban homelessness in recent years, highlighting the growing need for affordable housing and support services in communities of every size.
