We were proud to host an inaugural Grantee Summit, bringing together a group of our region's nonprofit leaders and their funders into one room. True impact happens when we move away from transactional interactions and focus on building deep, relational partnerships.

This day would not have been possible without a powerful collective of visionary partners. We are deeply grateful for our collaboration with the Maraist Family Foundation, the Pinhook Family Foundation, the Stuller Family Foundation, and the Schumacher Family Foundation.

We extend a special thank you to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana (Louisiana Blue) for their incredible partnership and shared commitment to driving change.

Thank you to everyone who brought their vulnerability, expertise, and dedication to the table. Let’s carry this momentum forward!

Thanks to a generous Community Foundation of Acadiana donor, this fantastic excursion for Juniors and Seniors in the Academy of Visual and Applied Arts at Lafayette High School was made possible! 🎨🛶

Did you know that charitable dollars can be dedicated to a specific program within the school system? Giving through CFA allows for resources to be directed toward specific educational initiatives, whether that means expanding hands-on arts programs, boosting STEM classrooms, or funding immersive learning experiences like this one.

🌿📸 Juniors and Seniors in the Academy of Visual and Applied Arts at Lafayette High School recently had the incredible opportunity to connect art and nature during a field trip to beautiful Lake Martin! 🦁🎨

On May 7, AVAA students partnered with Pack & Paddle for an immersive outdoor experience paddling through the breathtaking moss-covered Cypress trees of one of Acadiana’s favorite natural treasures. Along the way, students practiced their nature photography skills while observing the unique flora and fauna that make our local landscape so special. 🌱🛶📷

Thanks to the guidance of our trip leaders, students captured amazing reference photos that are now inspiring original artwork centered around the beauty of South Louisiana’s natural environment. What an incredible way to blend creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning!

A special thank you to Mike Van Etten for the beautiful Lake Martin photographs! 💚🖤
