Louisiana Army Survivor Outreach Services Expand and improve services to Survivors, improve responsiveness and streamline assistance process for surviving Families. What does the SOS program do?

The SOS program is an Army-wide program with a representative on most active-duty installations worldwide, and at least one representative in every State and territory of the United States. Serves Military Surviving Families within the State of Louisiana:
1. National Guard, Reserves, and Active Duty
2. Provides information on the benefits and entitlements available to military families
3. En

sure access to all entitled benefits for Families
4. Performs as an advocate on behalf of Survivors
5. Provides basic budgeting/financial management resources
6. Provides mental health counseling resources
7. Provides estate planning resources
8. Functions as long term support for Survivors
