THEY DID IT!!! 💚🎉
Our Mustangs crushed our fundraising goal, which meant there was only one thing left to do… SLIME THE ADMINISTRATORS! 🤣

Thank you to our incredible families, students, staff, and community for supporting Middlebrook in such a big way. The laughter, cheers, and excitement today were unforgettable.

Being part of moments like this is one of the greatest joys of being a principal. 💚🐴🎪

Today, our top fundraiser, Henry T., was our VIP Mustang for the day! 🤠💙💛

Henry got the full administrator experience — he sat in the Principal’s chair, helped make sure our campus stayed safe with SRO Primeaux, assisted with helping students celebrate Fun Day, enjoyed Chick-fil-A with Principal Clavelle, and even helped slime the administrators! 😂 (More on that later!)

We are so proud of Henry and incredibly thankful for his hard work during our fundraiser. He represented Middlebrook well today and had us all smiling! 🐴🎪

We are so proud of the creativity, talent, and thoughtful work displayed by our students in the LPSS Black History Poster Contest! ❤️🖤💚

A very special congratulations goes to Adrian R.D., one of our Kindergarten students, for being selected as Middlebrook’s school winner! 🎉 We are incredibly proud of Adrian and the beautiful work he created to honor and celebrate Black History Month.

Thank you to all of the students who participated and used their artistic gifts to share meaningful messages through art. Congratulations as well to all of the district winners for their outstanding achievements!

Today we are celebrating a very special member of our Mustang family — our incredible Assistant Principal, Dr. Mary Broussard! 💙💛

Dr. Broussard is the definition of dedication, loyalty, and heart. She loves our students fiercely, supports our staff endlessly, and helps make Middlebrook such a special place to learn and grow each day.

Whether she’s solving problems, making us laugh, supporting families, or cheering on our students, she does it all with authenticity, compassion, and a sense of humor that keeps us going through even the busiest days.

We are beyond thankful for all she does for our school community and hope she has the happiest birthday today! 🎉

🎪✨ Our next celebration day is Pajama Day- TOMORROW! ✨🎪

We can’t wait for another fun celebration day at The Greatest School on Earth! Students may wear school-appropriate pajamas tomorrow, Friday, May 15th.

Please help us ensure all attire remains school-appropriate:
⭐ No short shirts or short shorts
⭐ No camisole tops
⭐ Students must wear school-appropriate footwear (NO house shoes/slippers)

⭐ Special Note for PreK Families:
PreK students may wear their “Sunday Best” tomorrow for their awards ceremony. Because of this, PreK ONLY will celebrate Pajama Day on Monday, May 18th instead.
