APC would like to encourage Acadiana's community leaders to attend the Louisiana Brownfield Conference, taking place May 13–14, 2026 in Baton Rouge. This annual event is an important opportunity to learn how Brownfield resources can support redevelopment, economic growth, and revitalization of underutilized properties.

This year’s conference will bring together local governments, state agencies, technical experts, community leaders, and development partners to share tools, funding opportunities, and success stories that can directly benefit our region.

What you’ll hear about:

• How Brownfield grants and federal/state resources can support redevelopment projects in your community.
• Strategies for transforming vacant or underutilized properties into productive economic assets.
• Case studies and success stories from communities across Louisiana.
• Opportunities for collaboration with EPA, LDEQ, regional organizations like the South Louisiana Brownfield Coalition, and redevelopment partners.
• Technical assistance programs available to local governments, at no cost.
• Networking with environmental professionals, planners, and potential project partners.

More information, including registration and sponsorship details, is available at https://www.labrownfields.org/labrownfieldconference

Thank you and we hope to see you there!

Registration is now open for the 2026 Louisiana Brownfield Conference to be held in Baton Rouge on May 13-14
