Tippecanoe County Public Library We welcome all to engage and connect through equitable access to materials, resources, learning opportunities, technology, and library programs.

The Downtown, Klondike Branch, Wea Prairie Branch, and Wyandotte Branch Libraries, serve more than 93,000 cardholders countywide. There are nearly 600,000 items in library collections, including books, free downloadables, movies, music, and a wealth of online resources and databases. Programming is available for all ages. Meeting room space is also available at all buildings.

We are hiring!

The Tippecanoe County Public Library seeks a skilled manager to join our library team and commit to achieving our vision for over 150,000 area residents! We will hire a conscientious, customer-oriented manager with a commitment to public library service to lead our Adult Services Department as the Head Adult Services Librarian.

Supervise four M.L.S. Librarians along with support staff as you formulate, deliver, and evaluate programs and services. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic programmer and have seasoned problem-solving skills, the ability to make independent decisions and strong interpersonal and communications skills. Experience in community engagement and working with under-served populations is highly desirable.

Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience in a public library or any equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred. ALA accredited MLS and Indiana State Library LC2 Certification required. This is a 40-hour per week position with occasional evenings and weekends required.

Starting salary is commensurate with relevant work experience, skills, and education: $53,310.40-$62,400.00/year. TCPL has an excellent benefits package.
