We wrapped up this year’s Senior Olympics with an exciting day of pickleball!

It was a beautiful day both inside on the court and outside, and the energy was incredible from start to finish. Participants played from 9 AM until around 3 PM, with the gym full and up to six games going at once. Men and women alike showed up ready to compete and have fun!

A big thank you to the Youngsville Sports Complex for hosting this fantastic event. With this, we officially close out this year’s Senior Olympics, and what a year it has been! Participation more than doubled, making it our biggest year in quite some time.

Special thanks to our Senior Center Manager, Polly Arceneaux, Senior Olympics Coordinator, Greg Garbarino, and the entire Senior Olympics Committee for their hard work in planning and executing such a successful series of events.

Job well done to everyone involved, we’ve truly had a ball!

What a FUN day at our center!

There was so much happening, beanbag baseball, Connect Four, dancing, and plenty of laughter to go around. Our seniors truly showed out, especially with an amazing dance performance to “Respect” by Aretha Franklin!

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Marshal Reggie Thomas and his staff for providing lunch. Your support is truly appreciated!

Moments like these remind us how important it is to stay active, engaged, and connected as a community.

There was so much happening, beanbag baseball, Connect Four, dancing, and plenty of laughter to go around. Our seniors truly showed out, especially with an amazing dance performance to “Respect” by Aretha Franklin!

Senior Olympics Spotlight!

The Senior Olympics continued at the Robicheaux Center with a day full of fun, friendly competition, and great energy!

Participants enjoyed a variety of games including horseshoes, co****le, shuffleboard, and ping pong, proving that staying active and connected has no age limit.

We’re proud to see our seniors out there competing, laughing, and making memories together!
