Caregiver Companion We are a non-profit organization that provides non-medical volunteer assistance to elderly and frail

We refer to all those we serve as our “neighbor” emphasizing God’s love and care for our elderly and frail community members and caregivers. Our goal a ministry is to help relieve the pressure that often comes with being a caregiver through the help of loving and caring volunteers in the community.

If you or a loved one is in need of a volunteer to sit with, talk to, and be yourself around, our volunteers can be there to fill that need. Caregiver Companion serves the isolated elderly of Tippecanoe County who are lonely as they age in place in their homes. We strive to thoughtfully pair our Neighbors with our trusted and wonderful volunteers to promote a lasting friendship. Thank you to everyone who attended the Caregiver Education Seminar! A special thank you to our panelists, Joyful Journey, An Adult Day Service, Home Instead, Guardian Angel Hospice, Inc., Keri Nuske, Isabel Hogue, and Devon Moore.

It was a great opportunity for our community to learn more about the resources available to caregivers and seniors.

You're invited to our 3rd annual Caregiver Education Seminar! This is a free, 2-hour event focused on presenting caregivers and the elderly with information about the resources available to them and helping to answer questions you may have about caregiving and utilizing the resources available to you.

When and Where: July 25, 2:00pm - 4:00pm @ Northend Community Center (Vinton Room)

Presenting agencies include Home Instead , Joyful Journey, An Adult Day Service , Guardian Angel Hospice, Inc. , West Lafayette PD Social Work, and Caregiver Companion!
