FYI:
Our office will be closed from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. on Friday October 11th for a staff meeting and we will also be closed on Monday, October 14th for Columbus Day. Everyone be safe this holiday weekend!!

2019 NATIONAL COFFEE WITH A COP
The Lafayette Police Department will be participating in the National Coffee with a Cop event on Wednesday October 2nd, 2019. We will have a booth/table set up at the Greater Lafayette Senior Expo from 9am-2pm, located at the Tippecanoe County fairgrounds. We will have Copper Moon coffee on tap and several officers to talk with about issues in our community. At 10am, Sgt. Brown will present a Fraud Talk to help educate seniors about common threats to safety and security.

On October 3rd, 2019, LPD officers will be at Starbucks in The Pavilions shopping center, 200 S Creasy Ln, from 2:30pm-4:30pm, for another round of Coffee with a Cop.

Community members are invited to stop by at either event, grab a cup of coffee, and interact with our officers.

Fairfield Township will have a Board meeting on October 8th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. for public comment on the proposed 2020 budget. On October 22nd, the adoption of the 2020 budget will take place at 11:00 a.m.

FYI: The Township will not have their regular board meeting today. The meeting will be on September 24th for the public to hear the proposed 2020 budget. October 8th will be the adoption of the 2020 budget. Both meetings are at 11:00 a.m.
