Alexandre Latiolais House, Circa 1790

Alexandre Latiolais House, Circa 1790 Acadian/French Settlement From 18th/19th Century in Lafayette, LA / Great Venue for Weddings/Group Events
(2)

Though many buildings were constructed in the 18th century in Louisiana, very few remain today. The Latiolais House is significant in that it is a largely intact structure which is the product of two very early and interesting periods of Louisiana colonial construction and design. The oldest portion of the Latiolais house is certainly 18th century, and the oldest standing structure in Lafayette Parish.
