Strong communities are built through connection, collaboration, and knowing where to turn for help.

LTHC recently hosted a Peer Union Counseling Program meeting, bringing together local organizations to share information about housing, safety, financial stability, and other supportive resources available throughout our community.

The conversation highlighted an important reminder: homelessness and housing instability are not one size fits all. Every situation is different, and no single organization can provide every solution. By understanding each other's services and strengthening referral connections, we can help community members find the support that best fits their needs.

LTHC was also able to share more about the many ways we serve individuals, families, and Veterans and our role as a starting point for people experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

We don't have to have every answer. We need to know where to start and who to connect people to.

Happy Birthday, Accent Consulting!

Thank you for sharing such a special milestone with LTHC Homeless Services by donating birthday goody bags for families at LTHC!

To celebrate their 24thth birthday, Accent Consulting chose to give back to the community and help make someone else’s day a little brighter. What a wonderful way to celebrate!

These may seem like small gestures, but they can mean so much to a family experiencing a difficult season. A birthday surprise, a thoughtful gift, or simply knowing that someone in the community cares can bring a little joy and hope when it’s needed most.

We are incredibly grateful to Women United of United Way of Greater Lafayette for their generous donation of feminine hygiene products to LTHC.

For the past two years, the annual Cycle of Care Women United event has focused on addressing period poverty. Through the generosity of event attendees, Women United collected enough products to make a meaningful impact across our community

Partnerships like this help make Lafayette a strong and caring community. Thank you to Women United and everyone who participated for helping ensure essential products are available to those who need them.

Jennifer is back for Day 2 of the Indiana Housing Conference in Indianapolis!

The conference brings together housing professionals from across the state for two days of education, networking, collaboration, and conversations about the future of affordable housing in Indiana. Today’s sessions are focusing on topics including homelessness policy, supportive housing, housing development, and innovative approaches to strengthening communities.

We’re glad Jennifer is representing LTHC and bringing new ideas and connections back to Greater Lafayette!

September is National Recovery Month, a time to recognize the strength, courage, and resilience of people who are working toward recovery.

For many people experiencing homelessness, the path forward can be even harder without a safe and stable place to call home. Housing provides a foundation where people can focus on their goals, reconnect with their community, and take the next steps toward stability.

Recovery is a journey. So is finding home. We believe people deserve the support and opportunity to pursue both.
