📢 Important Update: 2026-27 Student Dress Code Changes 📢

Attention Chambers County parents and guardians! As you begin planning and shopping for the upcoming school year, we want to make sure you are aware of a few updates to our student dress code.

Our goal is to keep you informed early so you can shop with confidence! 🛍️✨

Here is a quick breakdown of what’s changing for the 2026-27 school year:

✅ What is NOW ALLOWED:

Non-Offensive T-Shirts: Graphic tees are permitted, provided the imagery and text are school-appropriate.

Patterned Pants: Students are no longer limited to solid colors—patterns are now approved!

Jeggings: Comfortable jeggings are officially allowed.

⚠️ What to KEEP IN MIND:

Shirts Under Jackets: Any shirt worn under a jacket, hoodie, or cardigan must fully meet the dress code requirements on its own.

No Athletic Skirts (Grades 6-12): Please note that skorts are no longer permitted for middle and high school students.

Please save the graphic below for quick reference while you shop! If you have any specific questions, feel free to reach out to your child's school administration.

Emails containing your child's Snapcode for returning-student enrollment were sent last week. Please take a few minutes to check your inbox (and your spam/junk folder, just in case!) to complete this important paperwork for the upcoming school year.

If you can't find your email or your child's Snapcode, please contact the school office directly so we can help you get logged in.

🏠 Moved recently?
If your family has changed addresses, please ensure you submit an updated Proof of Residency to the school as soon as possible so we can update our records.

At last week’s Board of Education meeting, we had the distinct honor of recognizing the Top 3 Seniors from both Valley High School and LaFayette High School for their incredible academic achievements, dedication, and leadership.

☀️ Fueled for Summer Learning! 🎒

We are excited to support our students as they grow their minds this summer! All CCSD students participating in our Summer Math and Reading programs will receive complimentary breakfast and lunch each instructional day.

🔹Dates: June 1st – June 30th, 2026

🔹Schedule: Monday through Thursday

🔹Please Note: Programs and meal services will be closed on Thursday, June 18th, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day.

We look forward to seeing our students thrive, learn, and stay healthy all month long!
