Please excuse me for a minute while I do some shameless self promotion. This is Katie and I’m a sociology student at UL. If you have a few minutes to spare, would you consider filling out this survey on misgendering for my research methods class? I need to get at least 100 responses. You don’t have to be LGBTQ+ to participate but I would love to get as diverse a population sample as I can. It’s completely anonymous and you’d be doing me a huge favor! TIA!

Misgendering at its simplest is defined as being referred to by the wrong gender. Friendly reminder 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Our household has been talking a lot about the new life sprouting in the garden lately.

This season is full of tiny new lives sprouting and reaching for the sun.

Brightly colored crocuses, daffodils and tulips pop up in spots we forgot we’d planted them.

And buds on trees hint at future green summer canopies.

All of this new life gives us hope and inspiration for the future.

Happy Spring (in the Northern Hem) Q***rs! May our futures be filled with life, growth, and color.
