LITE (Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise) The world's first data visualization facility specializing in immersive technology. Event venues offer high-powered visualization and modern atmosphere.

Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise (LITE) is a part of UL's Office of the Vice President of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development. The building offers 3 Data Visualization Venues which are available to the public for presentations, conferences, training, seminars, receptions, etc. We also work closely with other research centers in the park to enhance training programs in the oil

and gas, healthcare and education industries by creating Immersive Virtual Learning Environments (IVLE) that recreate the sight, sounds and dangers of real-life situations. These environments enrich user engagement, increase information retention, and provides a fully interactive learning environment that can equip the end user with valuable, quality hands-on experience without the consequences of mistakes. The facility also houses multiple economic development agencies which support our mission in connecting businesses with the resources needed to guide them to success. On behalf of the LITE staff, we wish our deepest condolences to the family and friends of former Governor Kathleen Blanco. In 2007 our Auditorium was dedicated in her behalf because of her passion for education and economic development. Thanks to her dedication to the conception of LITE, this room now gathers hundreds of people who leave with new knowledge and experiences. She believed in the collaboration of our community and the innovative ideas she knew it's residents held. We are honored to keep her legacy alive and have a daily reminder / motivator of the type of leader she was.
