Vital community resources are at risk of being cut.
For decades the CDBG and HOME programs have supported low-to-moderate income Americans by annually funding local development projects. The flexibility of the programs makes them invaluable for supporting a wide variety of community needs. For example:
Since 1992, HOME funds have:
👉 Supported the creation of over 1.3 million units of affordable housing
👉 Provided rental assistance to over 400,000 families
👉 Generated $128 billion in local economic impact
Since 2005, CDBG funds have:
👉 Funded public service projects to serve over 204 million people
👉 Assisted over 2 million households with affordable housing activities
👉 Benefitted 59.1 million people with public infrastructure improvements
