Have you been driving down Clayton Road lately wondering what’s going on? 🚧

The bulk of the current construction is part of MSD’s sanitary sewer replacement project—but there’s another exciting improvement on the way!

🚦 A new pedestrian-activated HAWK signal is being installed at 9901 Clayton Road, creating a safer, controlled crossing point along this busy four-lane roadway.

Construction began August 26 and is expected to be completed this fall. Once finished, pedestrians will be able to activate the signal when they need to cross, alerting motorists and stopping traffic safely.

Another step toward a safer, more walkable Clayton Road! 👟🚦

💗 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser — In Honor of Danielle Louise Rotter 💗

Please join the Ladue Fire Department for our annual Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser. This year’s fundraiser is especially meaningful as we proudly dedicate our shirts in honor of Danielle Louise Rotter. 💗

Danielle is a 37-year-old wife and mother of two young boys, ages 1 and 3. While nursing her youngest son, Danielle discovered a suspicious lump. On June 1st of this year, she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer.

Just one week later, Danielle began a rigorous chemotherapy treatment schedule, which she continues today. In early December, she is facing surgery—most likely a double mastectomy—as recommended by her oncology team.

Through all of this, Danielle continues to face this journey with incredible courage and strength. We ask our community, friends, family, and supporters to come together and show Danielle that she is not walking this road alone.

🎀 Shirts are now available for purchase! Every shirt purchased, $5 will be directly donated to Danielle and her family.

https://shirtco.chipply.com/LaudeFireDeptBreastCancerAwarenessStore/?action=viewall

Every shirt purchased helps us spread awareness while showing Danielle our love and support. We hope you’ll wear yours proudly throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month as a reminder of hope, strength, courage, and the power of community.
Wear pink. Show your support. Honor Danielle. 💗

Ladue Police Department Earns National CALEA Accreditation

In July 2026, the Ladue Police Department was awarded national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) — a highly regarded international law enforcement accrediting body.

Recognized nationwide as the Gold Standard in public safety, CALEA accreditation provides law enforcement agencies with a framework of best practices and standards to ensure accountability, reduce liability exposure, and promote effective resource management. Earning this accreditation required a multi-year process that included a comprehensive self-assessment, a detailed web-based review, and a multi-day on-site evaluation conducted by CALEA assessors.

This achievement is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of every member of our department and demonstrates a commitment to best practices, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. We are honored to serve this community and look forward to maintaining this high level of professionalism and service.

The City of Ladue extends its sincere congratulations and appreciation to Chief Ken Andreski, Lieutenant Chris Armstrong, the department's command staff, and every member of the Ladue Police Department whose professionalism, dedication, and commitment made this achievement possible.

We would also like to recognize the Ladue City Council and the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for their support throughout the multi-year accreditation process. Their continued investment in excellence helped make this significant milestone possible.
