Partnership for Public Health We're Better Together

Partnership for Public Health is a non-profit organization dedicated to leading and partnering in public health strategies across the Lakes Region and New Hampshire for safer and healthier communities. + ServiceLink Resource Center provides FREE information, referrals and assistance to connect older adults, adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers with resources in their community.


+ Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) provides support and technical assistance for communities to improve the health and quality of life for residents in the Lakes Region.

+The Partners in Prevention Regional Network provides support to communities working to reduce the impact of substance abuse on individuals and families in Belknap County, as well as the Merrimack County towns of Franklin, Hill and Danbury.

+Public Health Emergency Preparedness coordinates public health emergency preparedness and response activities ranging from ice storms to bio-terrorism.

+The Immigrant Integration Initiative engages stakeholders from both the newcomer community and receiving communities with an aim to promote health and full participation of New Americans in community life.

+Healthy Homes coordinates strategic planning and implementation of activities designed to reduce the impact of environmental hazards in the home such as lead poisoning, respiratory disease and injury.

+Other initiatives include: Sun Safety Awareness, Immunization Clinics, Needs Assessments, Neighbor 2 Neighbor, Public Health Alerts, Public Health Information, Volunteer opportunities and Student Placements.
