What will my child do at PE & Health Camp?
PE & Health Camp is all about movement, confidence, and healthy habits. Kids rotate through fun physical activities, team games, and age‑appropriate fitness challenges. They’ll also learn about nutrition, hydration, mindfulness, and how to take care of their bodies. It’s energetic, positive, and perfect for kids who love to move.
What happens at Sports Skills Camp?
This camp focuses on building fundamental skills across multiple sports — not just one. Kids practice coordination, teamwork, agility, and sport‑specific basics (like dribbling, passing, throwing, catching, footwork, and strategy). Each day campers will focus on a different sport. It’s great for beginners and experienced athletes because activities are leveled so everyone feels successful.
What is Entrepreneur Camp like?
Entrepreneur Camp turns creativity into real‑world skills. Campers brainstorm business ideas, design simple products or services, learn about money basics, and practice communication skills. They’ll work on mini‑projects that teach problem‑solving, leadership, and how to bring an idea to life. It’s hands‑on, imaginative, and empowering. On site expereinces w
What will kids do at Nature Camp?
Nature Camp gets kids outdoors exploring, observing, and creating. Activities may include nature walks, simple science experiments, outdoor art, wildlife discovery, and learning how to care for the environment. It’s perfect for curious kids who love being outside and discovering how the natural world works.
Are the camps indoors or outdoors?
A mix of both. We use indoor spaces for structured lessons, crafts, and breaks, and outdoor areas for sports, games, and nature activities. Weather is always considered for safety and comfort.
❓ Do kids need to bring anything?
We recommend:
* A water bottle
* Comfortable clothes and closed‑toe shoes
* Sunscreen already applied

All specialized materials for activities are provided.
❓ Are the camps age‑appropriate?
Yes. Activities are designed for the age group 6-12. We adjust difficulty and expectations so every child feels confident and included.
❓ Who leads the camps?
Camps are led by trained teachers and adult instructors experienced in youth programs, sports, and creative learning. Safety and positive engagement are top priorities.
❓ Can my child attend more than one camp?
Absolutely. Each camp week is unique, and many families sign up for multiple sessions.

❓What is the cost?
The cost is $75 per week for in‑district families and $150 per week for out‑of‑district families.
❓Why is there a discount for In-District Families?
The recreation district is graciously paying for half the cost of camp for all in‑district families residing in Lacombe. This brings the total to only $75 per week, per child.
❓What is included in the cost?
Your camp fee includes:
* Daily snacks
* A camp T‑shirt
* A camp bag
* All supplies and materials
* Multiple on‑site field trip experiences themed to each camp
* All instruction and activities
❓Are there any additional costs?
No. Everything needed for camp is included. Campers only need to bring a packed lunch each day.
