To Laclede Citizens- I would like to thank our Water Commissioner Philip Woodward for the 16-hour day he worked yesterday while repairing our water leak. Also I’d like to thank Bodey Bowen and his helper for all of their help. The break was just north of the old elevator on Cushman Street, under the old railroad bed inside a steel casing. Also thanks to all the citizens for their patience.

A water break has been detected on Cushman Street & is currently being fixed. Residents near the break will be without water for a short time.

Once it is resolved a boil advisory will be in effect immediately for residents who live on Cushman Street, & all residents who live south of Cushman. The boil order will expire at 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 5. Drinking water should be boiled for a minimum of 3 minutes to be considered safe.

Light snow has been ongoing across northern Missouri with above freezing temperatures today with rain further south. Temperatures will begin dropping this evening and snow will begin to stick from north to south. A heavier band of snow is expected to develop overnight across north central Missouri back to the eastern KC Metro. Here is a look at the updated snowfall totals for tonight through Friday

The City office is closed today due to illness.

The City office is open today however the alley & parking lot is covered in ice so please use your own discretion on whether or not to come to the office or not.
The deadline for Candidacy for the April 7 election is tomorrow, January 21. The office will be closed but I can meet anyone who wishes to sign up for candidacy. You may reach me directly by messaging me through this fb page or by calling Phil at 660-412-2215 & he can contact me.

The City office will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st but will be resume normal business hours on Thursday.

Disconnection for non-payment will be on Monday, December 23rd. We will be open on Tuesday, the 24th (normal business hours). The office will then be closed Wednesday and Thursday in observance of the Christmas holiday.
