All four WorkSource offices in the PacMtn region will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

This includes:

➡️ WorkSource Thurston County
➡️ WorkSource Mason County
➡️ WorkSource Lewis County at Centralia College
➡️ WorkSource Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties at Grays Harbor College

Regular office hours are expected to resume Tuesday, September 8. Please call your local WorkSource office for more information regarding holiday hours and to ensure specific services are open.

September is National Workforce Development Month! 🎉💼

Workforce Development Month is a national celebration created in 2005 by NAWDP - National Association of Workforce Development Professionals to raise awareness of the impact workforce development has on individuals, businesses, communities, and the U.S. economy.

Every day, workforce professionals help people develop skills, overcome barriers, connect to careers, and advance our economy. At the same time, they help businesses find and develop talent, build stronger talent pipelines, and respond to changing workforce needs.

Workforce Development Month provides an opportunity to bring greater visibility to this work and demonstrate why a strong workforce development system matters.

As of this summer, WorkSource Thurston County has been serving the community from our new location in Lacey at The Hub, after relocating from our old location in Tumwater.

You’ll find us on the first floor, on the building labeled "670" with a large WorkSource sign near the top.

Stop by Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, for free help with career exploration, resumes and job searching, training and work experience opportunities, workshops, and connections to community resources.
