💚 September is National Su***de Prevention Month 💚

At GMR, we are committed to protecting the mental well-being of our team members, their families, and the communities we serve.

Mental health matters, and it's important to recognize the warning signs, start conversations, and remind those around us that help is available.

Through the GMR Life Program, team members and their loved ones have access to resources designed to provide support, identify levels of risk, and connect individuals with the help they need.

Remember: You are not alone. Just as you care for others every day, we are here to support you when you need it most.

✅ Check in with a coworker
✅ Reach out to a friend or loved one
✅ Listen without judgment
✅ Encourage seeking help when needed

☎A simple conversation can make a life-changing difference.

Together, we can help break the stigma, promote awareness, and foster a culture of care

📚✏️ Back-to-School Safety Starts Now! 🚑

As students head back to the classroom, AMR Troup encourages families to make safety a top priority. Here are a few simple reminders to help ensure a safe and successful school year:

🚸 Walking to and from School • Walk on sidewalks whenever possible. • Cross at designated crosswalks and street corners. • Put away phones and other distractions when crossing the street. • Look left, right, and left again before crossing. • Make eye contact with drivers and watch for vehicles that may be turning or backing up.

🧼 Practice Good Hand Hygiene Frequent handwashing with soap and water or the use of hand sanitizer can help keep students healthy throughout the school year.

🍎 Choose Healthy Foods Nutritious breakfasts and lunches provide the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients children need to learn, grow, and thrive.

🏠 Be Prepared After School If children are home alone after school, make sure they know: ✅ How to call 911 ✅ Their home address and phone number ✅ Parent/guardian contact information ✅ The name and phone number of a trusted neighbor or emergency contact

Wishing all students, teachers, and families a safe, healthy, and successful school year! 🎒🍎

🍦 Happy National Ice Cream Day! 🍦

With the temperatures rising over the last few days, what better way to cool off than with a delicious scoop of ice cream?

Today is National Ice Cream Day, and whether you enjoy a hot fudge sundae, a banana split, a creamy milkshake, or a classic scoop of your favorite flavor—chocolate, strawberry, butter pecan, rocky road, or something else entirely—there’s no wrong way to celebrate!

Take a break, treat yourself, and enjoy a sweet moment with coworkers, friends, or family. After all, ice cream has a way of making even the hottest days a little cooler and a lot more enjoyable.

🍨 What's your favorite flavor?

Wishing everyone a happy and refreshing National Ice Cream Day! 🍦😎☀️

HAPPY 4th of July!

As we celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary, we honor the freedom born of service and sacrifice, especially the everyday courage shown by our Veterans.

This milestone is a reminder of the enduring strength and resilience that define our country. We acknowledge with gratitude those who have served, including the Veterans within our GMR family and the dedicated team members who support their communities every day.

Today, we reflect with pride and reaffirm our commitment to the values that move our nation forward.

💙 Happy Father’s Day from American Medical Response 💙

Today, we honor the dads, granddads, and father figures who serve both at home and in their communities—often making sacrifices so others can have more time with the ones they love.

Thank you for the long shifts, the missed holidays, and the moments you give up to answer the call. Your strength, compassion, and dedication don’t just save lives—they shape families, communities, and the next generation.

The same heart you carry into every call is the one that guides, protects, and inspires at home. Because of you, we are stronger, safer, and better—on every level.
