Our annual Scary Story Contest opens for submissions in two weeks! This year's contest is open to Elementary, Middle, and High School age writers — we can't wait to read their spine-tingling tales. We're raising $400 to cover this year's contest, and we'd love your help getting there — whether it's a personal donation or a contribution from a local business. Hey guys, Miss Jaymie here to say I am so proud of our Summer Reading Program this year! 📚☀️ We had an amazing summer of reading, and I just have to share some of the numbers with you all:
📖 73 children registered for the Summer Reading Program
🦴 Fossil Frenzy was our most popular program, with an attendance of 87!
📊 Our programs averaged an attendance of 59 all summer long
🎟️ Readers submitted a total of 1,802 tickets — that's 1,802 books and chapters read this summer!
🌟 6 children finished an entire reading log and started a second one
🐉 Our dragon fidget toy was the most popular prize, racking up 512 tickets
🎁 26 children earned prizes for their reading this summer
What an incredible summer of reading! Thank you to every child who picked up a book, and to every parent and caregiver who brought them in.
