The La Veta/Cuchara Public Library provides information, instruction, and a wide variety of materials and services to the La Veta and Cuchara communities and surrounding areas. We offer public computers and free wireless internet to any of our visitors--even if you don't have a library card! It's easy to sign up for a card, which allows you to check out books, movies and magazines. Your card also
gives you access to our electronic library of digital books and audiobooks and research databases. We offer cards to all Colorado residents, seasonal residents and temporary visitors. While you're at the library, you can also read the local newspapers and pick up free information about the area. We are also here to help you with office-like services, including copying, scanning and faxing documents. In addition, we have a library of things to check out. In Summer of 2020 we opened our Cuchara branch, which serves Cuchara residents and visitors from Memorial Day-Labor Day each year. In addition to all of these services, we also host a number of fascinating programs for folks of all ages as well as on site events at local venues. Please visit our website at www.lvpl.org for more information about upcoming programs.
