Before a child can read, walk, or speak their first word, the world is already shaping them. For children with visual impairments or multiple disabilities, having the right support from the very beginning makes all the difference.

Wayfinder's Child Development Services meets families where they are: literally. Our specialists visit children at home, building the kind of trust and connection that only happens in a child's own space. Parents don't just watch, they become confident caregivers who know how to nurture their child's development and boldly advocate for the services and education their child deserves.

At Wayfinder Family Services, we believe supporting kinship families means turning knowledge into action.

That’s why Wayfinder, in partnership with Spaulding for Children, is bringing professionals together for Kin First Culture: Words to Action, our free Virtual Kinship Summit on September 24.

Throughout the day, Wayfinder leaders and our kinship navigation team will join county partners and national kinship expert Dr. Joseph Crumbley to explore practical strategies for supporting kinship families. Sessions will include Wayfinder’s kinship navigation program model, tools for working with families and approaches to strengthening kinship navigator programs.

The summit will also introduce Wayfinder’s Kinnections Kinship Navigation Model, currently in review by the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse.
