Duck Farm River Parkway

Duck Farm River Parkway The proposed Phase 1 project transforms what was once a commercial Duck Farm (Woodland Farms) into a new 37.5-acre river park.

The Watershed Conservation Authority (WCA) is currently developing the former Woodland Duck Farm, which stretches for two miles along the San Gabriel River, into a passive park. The park will provide passive recreation, improve natural habitat, improve water quality and storm water management, and reconnect the community to San Gabriel River and much needed open space. Amenities will include trail

s, a riparian area with dry stream bed, picnic areas, a native plant demonstration garden and a river overlook with interpretive graphics throughout the park exploring both green energy and water conservation opportunities so important to the region.
