June is the last month of our fiscal year, and throughout this month we want to highlight how membership in the Maryland Farm Bureau benefits you and your farm.

When we walk into committee rooms to fight for your land, your way of life, and your family's future, our leverage is entirely determined by the members we represent.

If you've benefited from our legislative work but haven't yet joined or renewed, we hope that work has made a difference for you. Now we're asking you to make it official. June is the final month of our fiscal year, and our roster resets. We need you on it.

🚨 Applications are now OPEN for the 2026 Southern Maryland Meats Junior Livestock Program!

Calling all young livestock enthusiasts ages 8–21 in Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s counties! Whether you’re raising beef, sheep, hogs, goats, poultry, or rabbits, this is your chance to learn responsible, high-quality meat production while earning recognition and support.

Participants get a free program T-shirt, a stall card for county fairs, and a $125 completion stipend. Plus, you’ll join a growing community of future farmers—more than 140 youths have taken part since 2017!
