The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning through Wednesday evening. The City of La Palma will operate a cooling center at the La Palma Community Center during these hours:

🌡️Wednesday, September 9 — 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Stay cool, stay hydrated and avoid prolonged sun exposure.

**On June 2, 2026, the La Palma City Council approved a video streaming system for the Council Chambers. Due to equipment delays, the City anticipates video streaming of City Council meetings to begin at the October 6, 2026, City Council Meeting.
