Celebrate Earth Month by Giving Back to the Community! ๐ŸŒ

RE Services is partnering with the City of La Mesa and La Mesa Park & Recreation Foundation to help tidy up Collier Park and would love for community members to join.
RE Services led the design of Collier Park โ€“ an award-winning park and the oldest park in La Mesa. Weโ€™re excited to continue partnering with the City to help preserve and care for it through this event.

On Friday, April 17, weโ€™ll spend the afternoon refreshing key areas of the park together. Volunteers will help with:

๐ŸŒฟ Removing weeds along the east slopes
๐ŸŒฟ Clearing the trail for better visibility and
๐ŸŒฟ Planting succulents to refresh the landscape
๐ŸŒฟ Spreading mulch

If you'd like to volunteer, email the marketing coordinator at [email protected] to sign up.
Letโ€™s celebrate Earth Month by making a positive impact together. ๐ŸŒฑ Spread the word and we'll see you there!

The City of La Mesa, funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), invites San Diego County artists and artist teams to participate in the Artist to Work Program. This initiative aims to beautify public spaces and celebrate La Mesaโ€™s vibrant and diverse community.

This open call seeks qualifications from talented individuals or teams for projects that infuse creativity, color, and connection into public areas throughout the City.

This program will result in the creation of permanent and temporary public artworks, significantly enhancing La Mesaโ€™s identity and providing opportunities for local artists to contribute to the visual landscape of the community. Artists may be considered for more than one project, depending on qualifications and artistic style.

Qualified artists are invited to submit an online response to the City no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2026. View all related documents and project information at https://vendors.planetbids.com/portal/15382/bo/bo-detail/136292.
