Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Art in the Park event, to be held October 10 in MacArthur Park. Submit today at lamesaparks.org.
Deadline is September 25, 2026.

Proceeds will benefit the Future Park at Waite Drive.

MIG Consulting will be at the table to help answer questions about what the creative future for La Mesa could be.

The tot lot at MacArthur Park is the COOL place to hang out this summer! 😎
A brand new shade structure has been installed over the playground in MacArthur Park by the Community Center. The shade will offer more playtime fun with a break from the sun.

The tot lot is officially reopened today, May 29, 2026, now that construction is complete.
This playground is recommended for those 2-5 years old and adult supervision is required.

Join other like-minded nonprofits and businesses to showcase your sustainable products and services at the upcoming Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 18 at MacArthur Park in partnership with the La Mesa Park & Recreation Foundation.

Canopy, table and two chairs will be provided for all confirmed vendors.

Celebrate Earth Month by Giving Back to the Community! 🌍

RE Services is partnering with the City of La Mesa and La Mesa Park & Recreation Foundation to help tidy up Collier Park and would love for community members to join.
RE Services led the design of Collier Park – an award-winning park and the oldest park in La Mesa. We’re excited to continue partnering with the City to help preserve and care for it through this event.

On Friday, April 17, we’ll spend the afternoon refreshing key areas of the park together. Volunteers will help with:

🌿 Removing weeds along the east slopes
🌿 Clearing the trail for better visibility and
🌿 Planting succulents to refresh the landscape
🌿 Spreading mulch
