Colorado Water Protective & Development Association CWPDA is a 501C 12 organization serving the augmentation needs of the Arkansas River Basin in Southern Colorado.

CWPDA is a 501 C-12 organization that services the augmentation needs of well owners on the Arkansas River Basin. CWPDA has approximately 600 members representing approximately 1336 wells. The membership is composed of individuals, corporations, municipalities, and other entities that own or control wells within the Arkansas River Basin. CWPDA's municipal members provide water to about 38,000 peop

le and irrigation wells of its members provided sole source and supplemental irrigation water to over 71,000 acres. CWPDA municpal members are primarily the agricultural communities between Fowler and Las Animas.
