‼️🚨The Humans Deserve Healthcare campaign tackles an area very prevalent in America today: Healthcare prices. Millions individuals across the nation suffer from treatable conditions but can’t afford the high prices of care.

Ultimately, we want to see free healthcare for everyone ‼️ No one should have to suffer from treatable conditions.
We need to take small steps to reach this solution by fighting for price transparency, and trying to pass the ⚠️Patients Deserve Price Tags Act ⚠️by the end of the 2026 legislative cycle. This Act would force hospitals, insurers, and pharmacy benefit managers to make the cost of their services available to patients before they receive it.🥳

To do this, we are focusing on Scott Peters who is on a relevant house committee for this Act. We want to work directly with impacted communities and collect 50 personal testimonials. 🫂 Sharing real experiences humanizes the issue and helps decision-makers understand the real-world consequences of opaque pricing.💪

📚💸 Textbooks are still too expensive — and students are paying the price.

We surveyed 4,000+ students at 100+ campuses nationwide about how they’re navigating today’s textbook market. While more professors are assigning free, open textbooks, access codes and automatic billing are putting new paywalls on learning.

Students told us these costs force them to skip meals, work extra hours, or even drop classes. It doesn’t have to be this way.
